SAP Functional EHS Lead

SAP Functional: EHS LeadEligibilty criteria- candidates who have already Secret Clearance. We cannot consider candidates who do not hold Secret Clearance as this is a requirement from the client and we cannot wait for candidates to apply for it. Work Location: This role is primarily remote; however, the selected candidate must be willing and able to attend on-site workshops at the client’s premises in Ottawa, as required. In depth understanding of EHS module , with hands on configuration and implementation experience. The select candidate should be able to run workshops and help gather requirements from a client who is on SAP ECC. Ideally has 10+ years in EHS implementations. Responsibilities: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. You will utilize modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs. You are expected to be a subject matter expert with deep knowledge and experience, possessing influencing and advisory skills. You will be responsible for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions. Additionally, you are expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. Advanced proficiency in SAP Environment Health & Safety Management is required. Advanced proficiency in Environment Health and Safety is recommended. Advanced proficiency in Custom Application Development, SAP SD Functional, Software Design & Solutions, and Software Engineering is suggested. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Implement best practices in software development to ensure high-quality deliverables. Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members. Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies to enhance project outcomes.
