Job description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be familiar with Agile and Continuous release process and will work closely to ensure incremental value delivery per program timeline. This role requires a proactive individual who can also advise, provide solutions, lead or provide support to team as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end testing strategy, Design Automation frame work and execution of across large-scale data platforms and applications.
• Drive functional, and automation testing efforts, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Lead teams globally and front end communication with project Stake holders.
• Oversee test automation frameworks for data validation (Python/SQL) integrated with CI/CD tools.
• Mentor and guide a team of SDETs and testers on best practices, code reviews, and quality governance.
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers and DevOps to manage testing in complex data ecosystems.
• Conduct defect triaging, quality risk analysis, and ensure stakeholder alignment.

Required Skills:

• 8+ years in a lead role, managing teams and driving test delivery.
• Hands-on Java / Python automation for data validation and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions
• High level technical understanding of automation framework design (Python, Pytest, Java (exposure), BDD, etc).
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, with strong collaboration across ITH and NA teams
• Proven leadership in driving QA activities such as test planning, test strategy, test execution, mitigation planning, and generating testing progress reports.
• Proven QA leadership and team management skills across distributed teams

Good to Have:

• Working knowledge of AWS cloud services, especially S3 and Airflow.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server databases..

Education Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
