Insight Global is looking for a reliable and motivated Labourer to support construction and plant operations. This role involves assisting with daily site activities, material handling, and maintenance projects while maintaining a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and productivity. This is a 6‑month contract with the potential to convert to full‑time, working onsite five days per week in Nisku, Alberta.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, carrying and operating tools or machinery.
- Strong reliability and work ethic. Must consistently show up on time, follow schedules, and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
- Basic familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as drills, saws, pallet jacks, or forklifts.
- High level of safety awareness to protect yourself and others on the job site.
- Ability to follow instructions, ask questions when clarification is needed, and communicate effectively with team members.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily work instructions and procedures across construction and plant environments
- Move materials, tools, and equipment to designated work locations and help set up job sites
- Prepare construction sites, including pouring and spreading concrete, setting forms, and finishing surfaces as needed
- Participate in routine and turnaround plant maintenance projects and activities
- Support plant production operations, including receiving, handling, and shipping materials and finished products
- Complete required documentation, maintain tools and equipment, and perform general cleanup and housekeeping duties
- Follow all safety rules and procedures, including proper use of required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by supervisors
