AI Devops Engineer

Required Skills & Experience

o An engineer mindset, SDLC experience with production class delivery, strong analytical mindset, communication skills, and sense of ownership / drive

o 2+ years of development experience in one of the following languages: Java, Python, Javascript/TypeScript, C#, C/C++, Python

o Experience with application and system design patterns

o Experience with Docker or Kubernetes

o Experience with Agile methodologies, ie SCRUM

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

o Experience with Elastic Search and Kibana

o Experience using DevOps CICD tools such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, UrbanCodeDeploy

o Experience with a public cloud technology, i.e. Azure, AWS

o Experience building or supporting distributed applications

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an AI Platform Engineer (ideally with DevOps exposure) to join a Capital Markets technology team in Halifax. This individual will help build and enhance internal DevOps services, develop CI/CD pipelines, and improve automation and developer experience across multiple application teams. The ideal candidate brings a strong engineering mindset, hands-on development experience in languages such as Python, Java, or TypeScript, and exposure to tools like Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about efficiency, automation, and driving scalable DevOps transformation in a fast-paced enterprise environment. The successful candidate will be on site 2 days in Halifax, OR open to relocating to Halifax.
