About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to lead business analysis activities for complex, enterprise-wide initiatives within the Private Assets domain. This role is responsible for translating strategic objectives into actionable business and system requirements, driving delivery through Agile methodologies, and ensuring alignment between business needs and technology solutions.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, architects, and technology partners to deliver scalable and effective solutions across private asset investment platforms and related business functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis activities across large scale initiatives involving private assets, including private equity, private credit, real estate, and infrastructure.
• Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and system requirements using industry best practices.
• Create and refine epics, features, and user stories with clearly defined business value and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure requirements align with Definition of Ready and Definition of Done standards.
• Partner with Product Owners to maintain and prioritize a well groomed product backlog.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement sessions, sprint planning, and story walkthroughs.
• Develop business analysis artifacts including process flows, data mappings, functional requirements, and non functional requirements.
• Collaborate with architecture and technology teams to support scalable, compliant, and aligned solution designs.
• Engage business, operations, technology, and vendor stakeholders to drive alignment, decision making, and successful delivery.
• Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies and contribute to mitigation planning and governance activities.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior Business Analysts while supporting business analysis practice maturity.
• Support vendor engagements through requirements clarification, solution validation, and delivery oversight.

Required QualificationsMust Have

• 8+ years of progressive Business Analysis experience.
• Strong experience within Private Assets, Capital Markets, Structured Notes, or Asset Management environments.
• Proven track record delivering complex enterprise scale programs and initiatives.
• Deep expertise in Agile and Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Extensive experience creating epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog management artifacts.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across business and technology teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related discipline.

Highly Desired

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile, Scrum, or related credentials.
• Experience working with investment management platforms and private asset operations.
• Experience supporting vendor solution delivery and implementation initiatives.
