We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Ops Merchandising Specialist to join our team and drive in-app merchandising innovation. This role will play a key part in creating impactful consumer experiences by identifying merchandising opportunities aligned with strategic moments, executing initiatives across in-app surfaces, and evaluating performance to inform iteration.
The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of operations, strategy, and data, and brings a structured yet creative mindset to merchandising optimization. You should feel comfortable navigating large datasets and using SQL to drive business insights.
What you will doIn-App Merchandising Execution
• Design and execute new in-app merchandising strategies leveraging high-impact consumer moments.
• Manage the end-to-end setup of merchandising events across various app surfaces, including identifying relevant merchants and tagging appropriate offers and campaigns.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Ops) to ensure seamless execution of merchandising plans.
Experimentation & Performance Analysis
• Build and run structured experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of merchandising strategies.
• Analyze performance data to determine which efforts drive incremental value to the business.
• Use insights to refine and optimize merchandising approaches for stronger impact.
Data-Driven Decision Making
• Leverage SQL to extract and manipulate data for campaign setup, targeting, and reporting.
• Work independently with large datasets to uncover trends, issues, or opportunities for improvement.
• Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders across functions to guide strategy and iteration.
Requirements:• 5+ years of experience as a data analyst or digital merchandiser• Proficiency in SQL and strong experience manipulating and analyzing large datasets.• Excellent proficiency with G-Suite (Google Drive, Docs, Calendar).
• Strong organizational, communication and follow-through skills
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic team player.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple merchandising initiatives simultaneously.
• Experience working in operations, marketing, or merchandising roles within tech or consumer platforms.
• Experience working on digital merchandising (app or web) is a strong added value
• Demonstrated ability to balance creative problem solving with analytical rigor.
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• A strong sense of ownership and ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams and delivering against tight deadlines.
• Great attention to detail, especially on tight timelines.
• Experience working with a tech or e-commerce marketing team or agency is a plus.
