Senior Financial Analyst – 6-Month ContractLocation: Downtown Toronto, ON (5 days/week in-office)

Type: Contract (6 months, with strong potential for extension or conversion to full-time)

About Our Client

Our client is a large, publicly traded organization with a complex legal entity structure. They are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join their finance team and provide critical support through their year-end audit process.

What You’ll Do

• Lead year-end audit support by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and detailed commentary
• Consolidate financial statements across multiple legal entities
• Prepare and review complex journal entries (accruals, intercompany, revaluations, etc.)
• Perform variance analysis, identify risks, and communicate findings to management
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accuracy in reporting and strengthen internal controls
• Participate in preparing audit deliverables and liaise with external auditors
• Provide ad-hoc financial insights and support as needed

What You’ll Bring

• 3+ years of hands-on accounting and audit experience
• Nice to be designated (CPA/CA) or in the process
• Strong experience working in a multi-entity environment and consolidating financials
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, and more)
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Availability to work from the office 5 days/weekHow to Apply
