Salary: Up to $200,000 CAD + Bonus + Benefits

Location: Montreal (Hybrid)

The Opportunity:

Join a front office tech team building real-time risk and analytics platforms used directly by traders. You’ll develop Python-based tools that power trading decisions, working closely with quants to turn models into production-grade systems. Perfect for engineers who want to code where it matters and get closer to the markets.

Your Responsibilities (Full Spec. Available):

• Develop and maintain Python-based risk and analytics systems used in live trading;
• Collaborate with quants and traders to implement and optimise models;
• Design clean, efficient, and scalable code for front office applications;
• Ensure reliability, performance, and accuracy across production systems.

Who You Are:

• Strong programming skills in Python with 6+ years of relevant experience;
• Solid compsci fundamentals (degree ideally but not essential);
• Proven ability to tackle complex challenges with initiative and agility in high-pressure environments;
• Personality!
