Created by college students for college students, we're uniquely positioned to revolutionize sports gaming for the young adult demographic.

The Opportunity

We're looking for driven, sports-obsessed students in Alberta who want hands-on experience in sales, marketing, and business development within a fast-growing startup. This summer, you'll play a key role in launching and growing HotTakes across Alberta - including at one of Canada's biggest events: the Calgary Stampede.

This is an entrepreneurial, results-driven role where you'll directly see the impact of your work - from peer-to-peer promotion and creative events to real in-person activations.

What You'll Do

• Drive app growth through word-of-mouth, social media, and in-person events across Alberta
• Represent HotTakes at the Calgary Stampede - one of North America's biggest annual events
• Host and promote sports-viewing gatherings and community activations
• Educate peers on responsible, informed sports betting using the HotTakes platform
• Collect user feedback and collaborate with the internal team to improve the product
• Build brand awareness through your personal and professional network

You'd Be a Great Fit if You Are:

• A current university/college student or recent graduate in Alberta
• Passionate about sports and sports culture
• Interested in sales, marketing, business development, or entrepreneurship
• Comfortable working in a performance-based role
• Confident, outgoing, and self-motivated
• Able to work independently while taking feedback and direction

Compensation & Time Commitment

• Base Pay: $25/hour - alongside uncapped commission earnings
• Performance Bonus: Additional commission tied directly to user acquisition
• Uncapped Earning Potential: High performers maximize earnings by leveraging strong networks, events, and consistent outreach
• Time Commitment: 5-30 hours per week based on your availability (part-time, flexible schedule)
• Field Hours: Paid time for in-person company activations
