Job Description As a Field Service Technician, you will work with critical building management such as fire, HVAC and security systems with the opportunity to work across a diverse array of commercial, government, and healthcare facilities. In this position, you will assist our customers in utilizing technology to enhance productivity and increase the value of services provided to our diverse clientele. You will report directly to our Senior Field Service Supervisor and will be working at customer locations across Saskatchewan. The primary focus of this role is to deliver ongoing support for Honeywell’s commercial controls building automation, fire and security systems. ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and emergency support maintenance of customer's Honeywell quality control systems.
- Troubleshoot and solve system and process related problems.
- Perform sensor verification and calibration.
- Publish critical reporting to customers including monthly performance, results reports, and correction action reports.
- Engage actively with customers at all levels. Ensure customer satisfaction through verbal and written communication.
- Offer 24/7 emergency support to customers and technicians on a rotating schedule with other Honeywell technicians.
- Participate in the on-call rotation.
QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE
- 5+ years of experience in building automation / HVAC controls, including but not limited to RTU, AHU, boiler, VAV control systems, Honeywell fire alarm system, and Honeywell access control systems.
- Must have a valid Class 5 driver’s license.

- Degree / diploma in a related field.
- 5+ years of experience using Basic Windows and Microsoft Office experience.
- Ability to work safely within the Honeywell/customer HSE requirements.
- Ability to work effectively individually and with a group without the need of direct supervision.
- Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills; capable of learning available analysis tools to solve complex system or process problems.
- Design/engineer solutions to prevent reoccurring problems.
- Writing, reviewing, and / or editing technical reports.
- Ability to conduct formal meetings with customer management personnel.
- Capable of evaluating control effectiveness.
- Verifying and calibrating sensors as well as possessing a working knowledge of sensor operations and correctors.
- Knowledge of system architecture and operations as well as applicable database items needed for basic maintenance and calibration.
- Project a positive and confident attitude focused on meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
