Role: SAP HR/Payroll Functional Analyst

Job Type: Full-time Permanent

Location: Hybrid (2X per week, Montreal).

Your new company

A large and fast-paced retail organization is seeking an experienced SAP HR/Payroll Functional Analyst to support and enhance its human resources and payroll systems. This role is based in Montreal and offers the opportunity to work closely with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to deliver high-impact solutions.

Your New Role

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and optimization of SAP HR and Payroll modules. Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a Level 1, 2, and 3 support resource for SAP HR/Payroll systems
  • Configuring modules such as Payroll (PY), Employee File Management (PA), Organization Management (OM), Benefits (BN), and Time Data Transfer (CAT6)
  • Implementing Support Packs, legal changes, and OSS notes
  • Writing functional specifications and conducting functional, integrated, and regression testing
  • Managing data conversions (Secatt, LSMW) and ensuring data integrity
  • Assigning security roles and maintaining access documentation
  • Preparing training materials and delivering user training
  • Supporting payroll processing and year-end activities

What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP HR/Payroll configuration
  • At least 2 years supporting payroll processing and year-end activities
  • Experience with Support Packs, legal updates, and OSS notes
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in SAP programs
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Knowledge of CAT6 (an asset)
  • Strong communication skills and bilingual in French and EnglishWhat you'll get in return
