Our client, a well-established and respected commercial general contractor based in Calgary, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team. About the Role

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle—from pre-construction through to close-out. You’ll work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage commercial construction projects from inception to completion
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables
• Monitor site progress and proactively address any issues or delays
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial construction project management
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore), and project documentation
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• PMP certification or equivalent is considered an asset
