Your New Role
- As a Building Operator, you will support the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of downtown Calgary buildings
- Completing preventative and reactive maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and general systems
- Responsible for maintaining strong tenant relationships while ensuring building systems operate efficiently
- Reporting to the Operations Supervisor and Operations Manager
- Work variable shifts, including participation in an on-call rotation
- Maintaining detailed logs, maintenance records, and equipment documentation
- Recording weekly and monthly meter readings
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- 4th Class Power Engineering certification (required)
- 5+ years of experience in building operations, including HVAC and preventative maintenance systems
- Experience working with building automation systems (relevant platform experience considered an asset)
- Familiarity with hydronic boilers, air handling units, and related systems is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to pass background and education verification checks
