QuickBooks Bookkeeper Opportunity – Construction Industry Experience Preferred

We’re currently hiring for a Bookkeeper role with a well-established construction-focused company based in North Burnaby. This is a great opportunity for someone with QuickBooks experience and a background in AP, AR, and billing, ideally within the construction industry.

Your new role

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for two companies (majority of work for Ross Morrison Electrical)
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Process payroll and related government remittances, including WCB, EHT, EI, CPP, and other payroll taxes
• Prepare and issue invoices
• Ensure compliance with government filing deadlines and regulations
• Collaborate with the in-house payroll and invoicing coordinator (who works 4 days per week)

What you'll need to succeed

• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good phone manners and communication skills are considered an asset.
• 10+ years of experience in bookkeeping
• Construction experience is good to have
