We are currently supporting a leading professional services organization in the recruitment of a Bilingual Analyst, Benefits & Payroll (Workday) to join their Human Resources team.
This role is ideal for an analytical, data‑savvy professional who enjoys working across systems, questioning data, identifying discrepancies, and recommending process improvements—particularly within Benefits administration, supported by Payroll knowledge.
What you’ll do:
- Serve as a functional bridge between Workday and other systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across systems
- Support group benefits administration (health, dental, disability, life, etc.), with a strong emphasis on benefits processes
- Perform data analysis and reconciliation by reviewing information across Workday and external benefits portals to Identify errors and discrepancies, investigate root cause, recommend and document corrective solutions
- Analyze benefits and payroll data and prepare reports using Workday and advanced Excel
- Collaborate with payroll teams on reconciliations, audits, and statutory remittances
- Act as an escalation point for employee inquiries related to benefits and payroll
- Work closely with HR Technology teams on Workday functional support (not configuration), including integrations and release testing
- Build and maintain dashboards and advanced Excel models (pivot tables, reconciliation spreadsheets, data validation)
- Question existing processes, document findings, and contribute insights to process improvements and HR initiatives
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum 3+ years of functional experience with Workday Benefits and Payroll (end-user/administrative perspective, not system configuration)
- Strong experience analyzing and reconciling data across multiple HR systems
- Experience working with external benefits providers
- Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, formulas, reconciliation workflows; Excel test required)
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Canadian payroll and benefits legislation
- Fully bilingual (English & French)
Work model: Hybrid ( 3 days in office)
Salary range: $90,000 - $95,000/CAD
