Assistant Superintendent

We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Superintendent to work for an established Canadian owned General Contractor from Ontario that are expanding their presence across Western Canada, including here in the Vancouver region. The company has been in operation for over 40 years and has an excellent reputation. Work is undertaken in various sectors including commercial, residential and institutional with projects ranging in value from $10 - $100m.

The company is looking for an Assistant Superintendent to join the team here in the Lower Mainland of BC. We are looking to identify someone with 5+ years’ experience in site supervision. This could be someone with a background as Assistant or Finishing Superintendent. Ideally you will be a confident communicator with strong practical knowledge, a good work ethic, as well as a track record of successfully completed projects.

We are open to considering people that have institutional, commercial or multifamily project experience in the $20m+ range. You must have an honest demeanor, have strong sequencing and scheduling of trades skills and a keen eye for quality management.

In exchange for your hard work and commitment you will receive a competitive salary of $90,000 - $120,000, vehicle allowance, fuel card, bonus and benefits scheme.
