Role Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting project management efforts. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The Project Coordinator will work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and management of project schedules using Microsoft office tools and other construction management software.
- Coordinate project activities, including meetings, documentation, and communication among team members.
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and construction documents to facilitate project planning.
- Utilize Procore and Bluebeam for document management and collaboration with team members.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
- Maintain accurate records of project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and correspondence.
- Support the project manager in preparing reports and presentations for stakeholders.
Qualification
- Bachelor of Commerce in Business Technology Management, Operations Management, Business Analytics, or equivalent.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft 365 Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, OneDrive, Project).
- 1-2 years experience in construction coordination is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with project management software, including Procore and Jonas, is considered an asset.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to maintain strong working relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and team members.
