Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Social Media Manager located in Montreal, QC. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for creating and implementing social media strategies, optimizing content for social media platforms, and managing communication with our online community. Day-to-day tasks include developing content strategies, writing posts and updates, and monitoring engagement metrics to ensure goals are met.

Content Management

  • Plan and manage a content calendar for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Post and schedule content consistently across all platforms.
  • Repurpose long-form video into short-form assets.

Video Editing (Required)

  • Edit short-form videos using CapCut, Final Cut, Premiere, or similar.
  • Add subtitles, captions, transitions, and music optimized for engagement.
  • Maintain the brand's clean, premium, and energetic aesthetic.

Performance & Engagement

  • Track analytics and performance KPIs (views, shares, saves, conversions).
  • Optimize content based on insights and platform trends.
  • Engage with audience comments, DMs, and community building.

Brand Alignment

  • Maintain consistency in brand voice, tone, and design.
  • Coordinate with graphic designers and videographers to maintain cohesive content.
  • Stay on top of trends in the barbering, fashion, and education space.

Qualifications

  • Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills
  • Strong Communication and Writing skills
  • Experience in developing and implementing Content Strategies
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
