Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with over 5-10 years of experience in the Banking or Financial Services industry, specializing in Credit Card systems. The ideal candidate will have strong domain expertise across multiple areas of the credit card lifecycle and will play a key role in bridging business needs with technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for credit card systems.
  • Lead and support initiatives across one or more credit card domains:
  • Origination – application intake, underwriting, approval workflows.
  • Servicing – account maintenance, customer service processes.
  • Collections – delinquency management, recovery strategies.
  • Rewards – points accrual, redemption, loyalty programs.
  • Disputes – chargeback handling, fraud investigation.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories.
  • Work closely with development, QA, and product teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (scrum, sprint planning, retrospectives) and Waterfall project phases as needed.
  • Create process flows, wireframes, and documentation using tools like Visio, Confluence, and MS Office Suite.
  • Manage JIRA boards and ensure traceability of requirements through the development lifecycle.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including business users, technical teams, and leadership.
  • Support testing and validation efforts, including UAT coordination and defect triaging.

1. Card Application

  • Strong background in KYC, AML, and customer onboarding processes.

2. Payment

  • Experience with payment rail operations (ACH, SWIFT, FedWire, RTP).
  • Hands-on with payment account management, compliance, and collections.

3. Core Dispute Lifecycle

  • Experience in chargebacks, fraud control, compliance, and customer service escalations.

4. Account Management

  • Managed card activation, credit line adjustments, and customer contact updates.

5. Balance & Settlements

  • Exposure to cash advances, refunds, fee reviews, and financial reporting, cash flow management and settlements.
