Role Description The Door to Door Sales Representative is a full-time, hybrid role based in Halifax, NS, with some work-from-home flexibility for follow-ups, planning, and administrative tasks. On a day-to-day basis, this role involves canvassing residential neighborhoods, engaging prospective customers at their homes, and clearly presenting the benefits of Firefly Solar’s products and services. The representative will qualify leads, schedule consultations, and support the sales process with initial contact. Responsibilities also include attending team meetings and training sessions, staying up to date on product knowledge and market trends, and collaborating with colleagues to refine territory strategies. The role requires a proactive, target-driven approach and a commitment to delivering a professional, positive customer experience.

Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, including active listening, clear verbal presentation, and the ability to build rapport with diverse customers.
- Proven sales abilities, with experience in door-to-door, field sales, or other direct customer-facing sales environments.
- Experience or aptitude in sales management or leadership, including organizing personal sales pipelines and supporting team goals.
- Training experience or willingness to participate in and complete structured sales and product training programs.
- Comfortable learning about and explaining solar or other technical products; prior experience in energy, home services, or related industries is an asset.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in the field and from home with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for neighborhood canvassing and customer visits in the Halifax, NS area.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
