Distribution Co-ordinator, LBM

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Distribution Co-ordinator, LBM on a permanent basis on our HABS team. This position requires on-site work and is based in Regina, SK.

What you’ll do:

• Assist the Supervisor with day-to-day operations by unloading, storing, staging, and shipping product to Retail Co-ops.
• Ensure systems and processes are being utilized to effectively co-ordinate in-bound freight, store product, process and fulfill orders based on shipping schedules and budgeted service levels.
• Provide training and coverage to LBM Distribution Operators on onloading trucks, fulfilling orders, liaising with carriers and assisting with morning toolbox meetings.
• Ensure that facility employee’s work within established regulations, policies, and procedures with regards to health, safety, and environment.

Who you’ll work with:The Team: You will work closely with LBM Distribution Operators, Retails, carriers, and will report into the Supervisor, LBM Distribution. This team strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration, quality, and safety.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Production, Trades and Maintenance and:

• Have 3-6 years of relevant experience, with a preference for an administrative environment and/or working with operating equipment in a production, manufacturing or distribution facility.
• Have a one-year certificate (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
• Are familiar with lumber and building products.
• Mechanical aptitude training and certification would be an asset as well as experience running mobile equipment including Forklifts.
