The Role
As our Senior Operations Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth daily operations while driving innovation and continuous improvement. You’ll oversee key processes, manage a dynamic team, and help shape the future of Fed by mentoring and empowering team members to excel. Knowledge and implementation of a CFIA food safety program is a requirement for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory, procurement, and sourcing for non-food products.
- Oversee facility organization and sanitation
- Oversee and maintain CFIA food safety program
- Oversee equipment maintenance to ensure seamless daily operations.
- Lead and manage operational staff across meal assembly and logistics teams.
- Develop and implement new operational initiatives to drive growth and efficiency.
- Recruit, train, and mentor team members to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Collaborate closely with senior kitchen team members to ensure smooth and efficient coordination across all teams.
- Address and resolve operational challenges with creative problem-solving.
- Perform additional duties as required to support the organization’s success.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- A solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable adapting to new tools and systems.
- Self-motivated, empathetic, and approachable leadership style.
- 3+ years of experience in people management.
- Knowledge and implementation of a CFIA food safety program
- A willingness to learn and grow to meet evolving job requirements.
- Experience in the food and beverage (F&B) industry is a strong asset.
