Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Municipal Engineer based in Calgary, AB, with flexibility for remote work as appropriate. The Municipal Engineer will design, plan, and oversee municipal infrastructure projects, including roads, water distribution, wastewater systems, stormwater systems, and drainage. Responsibilities include project management, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, coordinating with clients and stakeholders, preparing technical reports, and ensuring projects meet established regulations and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in municipal infrastructure design, including water distribution, wastewater, stormwater systems, and roadway design
• Strong skills in project management, scheduling, and budget tracking
• Proficiency with engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other related tools
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, prepare reports, and ensure regulatory compliance
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility for registration with APEGA
• Experience in municipal, civil, or infrastructure engineering projects
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
