Duties and Responsibilities
We looking for an energetic person to join our team with experience in Public Practice. Our firm is a fast-growing firm.
- Prepare year-end files for corporate, partnership, and sole proprietorship clients.
- Efficiently complete and document files.
- Prepare financial statements and corporate tax returns.
- Conduct analytical reviews and monthly reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts.
- Reconcile subsidiary ledgers to the general ledger.
- Perform monthly variance analysis against file budgets.
- Maintain accounting procedures and policy manuals.
- Collect, analyze, and summarize account information for financial reporting.
- Stay current with relevant tax laws, standards, and reporting requirements.
- Maintain clear and open communication with clients.
- Apply knowledge of new legislation and tax authority decisions in complex situations.
- Uphold client confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax compliance within budget guidelines.
- Prepare and deliver final year-end packages and documentation.
- Provide administrative support, including:
- Client reception
- Ordering office supplies
- Handling client communications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
