Project Engineer (SAGD - Central Processing Facility)

Equinox Engineering is seeking a highly experienced Project Engineer (Senior/Intermediate) with strong background in SAGD CPF (Central Processing Facility) projects within an EPCM environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring technical quality, cost control, and schedule adherence across assigned projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering deliverables for SAGD CPF facility projects in an EPCM setting.
• Provide technical direction, coordination, and support to multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Ensure project execution aligns with client requirements, codes, standards, and industry best practices.
• Oversee project scope, cost, schedule, and change management processes.
• Review and approve engineering documents, drawings, and calculations.
• Collaborate with project managers, discipline leads, and clients to resolve technical and project issues.
• Support procurement, construction, and commissioning activities as required.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Alberta (or eligibility for registration).
• 10–15 years of experience in project engineering, with a focus on oil & gas facilities.
• Proven experience delivering SAGD CPF projects in an EPCM environment is mandatory.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
