This role plays a vital part in ensuring that our data is accurate, up-to-date, and readily accessible, supporting informed decision-making across the company. Key Objectives
- Accurately input and update data into company databases and systems.
- Maintain data integrity by verifying and cross-checking information.
- Support various departments by providing timely and reliable data entry services.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
Responsibilities
- Enter data from various sources into the company’s database with high accuracy and speed.
- Review and verify data for completeness and correctness before input.
- Update existing records and correct errors as needed.
- Organize and maintain electronic and paper files to ensure easy retrieval.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve data processes.
- Follow company policies regarding data confidentiality and security.
- Assist with generating reports and providing data summaries upon request.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in data entry or a similar administrative role preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and data entry software.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Basic understanding of data confidentiality principles.
