Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results driven Inside Sales Representative/Customer Service Specialist to join our Solid Waste Division team in Calgary. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, sales, and knowledge of solid waste management, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:Sales Responsibilities:
- Conduct B2B prospecting to identify and acquire new customers.
- Accurate data entry of new customers, modifying customer services and entering CSA agreements into CRM database.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to enhance service offerings.
- Prepare and deliver quotations and service agreements tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with customers to guide them in selecting the most suitable waste management services.
- Follow up with customers to meet objectives and maintain satisfaction.
Customer Service Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly and professionally to inbound calls, emails, and customer inquiries.
- Address customer complaints courteously and resolve issues efficiently.
- Coordinate with Sales, Logistics, and Operations teams to ensure smooth delivery of service.
- Set up new client accounts and sites in the company database.
- Maintain accurate records and data in CRM software.
Qualifications:
- Sales Experience: Minimum 1+ year of B2B sales experience.
- Customer Service: At least 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in the solid waste or environmental services sector is an asset.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office programs.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual in French and English is an asset.
- Attributes: Strong listening skills, ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Education: Professional diploma in sales consulting or equivalent experience preferred.
