- Partner Across Teams: Collaborate with departments such as Claims, Actuarial, IT, and Reinsurance Operations to solve complex operational challenges. Your insights will help us optimize processes and ensure compliance.
- Deliver Strategic Insights: Prepare comprehensive management reports on profitability, claims, and premium estimates. Your analysis will inform key business decisions and client negotiations.
- Ensure Control & Compliance: Design and maintain robust accounting controls, support audit processes, and document processes to uphold our governance standards.
- Support System Enhancements: Lead user testing for system upgrades and contribute to automation initiatives that make our financial operations more efficient and responsive.
- Contribute to Special Projects: Play a vital role in implementing new analytical tools and reporting systems that keep us at the forefront of the industry.
What We're Looking For:
- 3-5 years of experience in finance, ideally within the insurance or reinsurance sector.
- A degree in Commerce, Business, or Accounting
- CPA designation or in progress required
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (advanced skills required). Experience with Oracle, PowerBI, SQL, or PSQL is advantageous.
- A proactive team player who embraces innovation and technological trends.
- Ability to thrive under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities with ease.
- Exceptional communication skills, with a knack for translating data into clear insights.
Why Join Us?
This role offers a unique blend of accounting expertise, strategic analysis, and technological innovation. You’ll be part of a forward-thinking organization that values your ideas, encourages professional growth, and recognizes your contributions.
