The Role We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Microsoft 365 Support Specialist to join our growing team. This role is responsible for proactively monitoring, supporting and enhancing Microsoft applications such as Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot, SharePoint, Purview, and Dynamics 365. As a Microsoft 365 Support Specialist at Elantis, your projects will include:
- Monitor client applications, perform routine maintenance, updates, and patches to ensure security and performance.
- Serve as the main point of contact for client inquiries, diagnosing and resolving application issues via phone, email or remote tools.
- Respond to service desk tickets, prioritizing based on urgency and complexity, and ensuring adherence to SLA requirements.
- Handle user accounts and permissions.
- Provide enhancements and optimization to existing applications.
- Provide regular updates to clients on support cases and system status, maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Document request updates, troubleshooting, and resolutions.
- Develop monthly reporting on SLAs, request status, and recommendations for maintenance/optimization.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in Microsoft 365 and SharePoint (both on-premise and Online).
- Experience with Microsoft Purview, Defender, and Intune.
- Experience developing and modifying PowerShell scripts.
- Experience working with databases and APIs.
- Experience M365 managing permissions.
- Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Experience with both canvas and model driven apps.
- Experience with Dynamics 365 Sales, Business Central, Customer Service and/or Finance and Operations.
- Experience with Dataverse and Azure.
- Experience with Copilot.
- Experience in consulting roles.
- Articulate, excellent communication skills.
- Able to confidently advise clients on solutions.
- Proactive and driven.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking ability.
- Post-secondary education in a technology related field or equivalent experience.
Certifications The following Microsoft certifications are an asset:
- PL-900 / MB-910: Power Platform / Dynamics 365 Fundamentals
- PL-200 / PL-400: Power Platform Functional Consultant / Developer Associate
- PL-600: Power Platform Solutions Architect Expert
- SC-900: Security, Compliance and Identity Fundamentals
- SC-200 / SC-400: Microsoft Security Operations Analyst / Administrator Associate
- MS-900: Microsoft 365 Fundamentals
- AZ-900 / AI-900: Azure Fundamentals, Azure AI Fundamentals
- MB-210 / MB-230 / MB-240: Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service, and Field Service
- MB-220 / MB-300 / MB-310 / MB-800: Dynamics 365 Marketing, F&O, or Business Central
