Role Description

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher for a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Calgary Metropolitan Area. The role involves preparing and setting forms, pouring and finishing concrete for various projects, and operating construction equipment and power tools. Additional responsibilities include maintaining equipment, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and collaborating with a team to deliver high-quality results for commercial, municipal, and residential paving projects.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using Power Tools and other concrete finishing equipment
• Experience with Formwork and Flatwork techniques
• Basic knowledge of Carpentry for concrete-related tasks
• Skill in operating Heavy Equipment typically used in paving and construction projects
• Attention to detail, strong work ethic, and focus on safety protocols
• Ability to work in outdoor environments and adapt to physical labor requirements
• Previous experience in concrete finishing or related construction fields is an asset
