Machinist - CNC Horizontal Boring Mill Operator Location: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Department: Trades Posted: 11/17/2025 Location Name: Dynaindustrial Saskatoon Wage: Depends on Experience Hourly Position Type: Full Time Shift: Standard DynaIndustrial Saskatoon is a leading custom machine shop and steel fabricating company, producing specialized equipment for a global customer base. We focus on heavy industrial components and assemblies for industries such as Oil & Gas, Mining, Steel & Pipe Mills We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Machinist – Horizontal Boring Mill Operator to join our growing team. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have experience operating large horizontal boring mills (manual or CNC) to machine precision parts to tight tolerances. We're looking for someone with:

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate horizontal boring mills to produce custom, high-precision components
  • Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints
  • Select proper tooling and machining parameters for a variety of materials
  • Ensure parts meet tight tolerances using precision measuring instruments
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machines
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of machining experience, preferably with horizontal boring mills
  • Experience with large/heavy parts and overhead crane operation is an asset
  • Strong understanding of machining practices, setups, and blueprint reading
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred
