About Draganfly

Draganfly Inc. (the “Company”) has been a recognized technology leader within the commercial UAV space for over two decades. We helped establish the commercial market & adoption of multi-rotor helicopters for public safety, agriculture, aerial imaging, & more. As a leader who helped shape the industry, Draganfly’s focus is on the sale of drone products and services, contract engineering & custom integration product development, and health monitoring products and services.

About The Role

Draganfly Innovations is seeking a hands‑on, detail‑driven Manufacturing Assembler to help bring our world‑class drone technology to life. This role is far more than following checklists — you’ll be an essential part of the production process, ensuring every component, payload, and aircraft meets the high standards our customers rely on.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in craftsmanship, and thrives in an environment where accuracy and consistency truly matter. You’ll contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, collaborate with production and engineering teams, and support the creation of the most trusted unmanned systems in the industry.

If you’re someone who notices the details, stays focused in a fast‑paced setting, and loves turning technical components into a polished final product, this role offers the opportunity to grow your skills, expand your technical knowledge, and make a meaningful impact in a company built on innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform hands‑on mechanical and electronic assembly, including soldering, wiring harnesses, and component installation.
  • Prepare materials, support production flow, and assist with CNC operations and shop organization.
  • Install software and firmware on electronic components and conduct quality assurance checks to ensure product reliability.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, support continuous improvement efforts, and communicate assembly feedback to the production team.
  • Follow safe work practices and assist with inventory management and general shop upkeep as needed.

Who are you really?

  • You take pride in building high‑quality, precise work and genuinely enjoy hands‑on tasks.
  • You have strong attention to detail and notice things others may overlook.
  • You’re comfortable in a fast‑paced environment and stay organized even when priorities shift.
  • You’re mechanically inclined, curious, and enjoy solving small technical challenges.
  • You bring a positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic to everything you do.
  • You communicate clearly, ask good questions, and contribute ideas for improving processes.
  • You work well independently but also support your team whenever needed.
  • You are safety‑minded and committed to maintaining a clean, efficient workspace.
  • You’re eager to learn new skills and grow within a company focused on innovation and quality.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior manufacturing or assembly experience is an asset but not required
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Manual dexterity and comfort with repetitive tasks
  • Basic math and measurement skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light‑to‑moderate physical work
  • Willingness to learn and work safely in a production environment

Compensation package

  • Competitive salary: $37,000 - $47,500
  • Comprehensive medical and dental benefits, including a Health Spending Account.
  • Matching RRSP program.
  • Generous time-off program, including vacation, wellness days, and the week off between Christmas and New Year’s.

Why Join Us

At Draganfly Innovations, you’ll join a collaborative team that values innovation, curiosity, and continuous improvement. We’re in an exciting growth phase, scaling our technologies, product lines, and teams as we continue to shape the future of UAV innovation. Joining us now means becoming part of a company with deep roots in the industry - and bold ambitions for what comes next.

You’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, work on diverse and cutting‑edge projects, and grow your skills alongside passionate experts. We offer competitive compensation, strong benefits, and a supportive environment where your contributions truly matter. Here, you won’t just join a company - you’ll help build what comes next.

As part of our hiring process, all candidates must successfully complete reference checks and a criminal background check.
