Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Bookkeeper located in Edmonton, AB. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing and recording financial transactions, preparing accurate financial statements, maintaining accounting records, and managing journal entries. Duties also include reconciling accounts, handling accounts payables and receivables, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards. Collaboration with management to provide financial insights and updates is also required.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in Financial Statements and Finance
- Proficiency in Bookkeeping tasks and Journal Entries (Accounting)
- Familiarity with and experience using Accounting Software
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical abilities
- Knowledge of local financial regulations and compliance
- Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
- A diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred
