We are looking for candidates with strong technical expertise to fill this role. Below are the details of the position:

The business group manages the portfolio, financials, and budget across multiple initiatives. This role focuses on supporting projects related to actuarial reinsurance technology. While domain knowledge is not mandatory, it would be considered an asset. The Project Manager will be responsible for handling one or two projects at a time, ensuring effective project planning, tracking, financial management, and stakeholder engagement.

Typical Day in Role

  • Lead project calls and status updates to track progress and resolve roadblocks.
  • Follow up with resources to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Engage stakeholders to gather business requirements and secure sign-offs.
  • Align expectations across teams and coordinate with architects.
  • Manage project estimation, including Delegation of Authority (DOA) approval and end-to-end planning.
  • Oversee resource planning, project logs, and status reporting.
  • Track and manage project financials, forecasting, and estimating project completion.
  • Proactively identify, mitigate, and resolve project risks and issues.
  • Deliver clear, professional communication with stakeholders and project teams.

Candidate Requirements / Must-Have Skills

  1. Technical Skills
  • Strong background in requirement gathering and Business Requirement Documentation (BRD).
  1. Experience Level
  • 4–9 years of experience as a Project Manager (L2 level).
  • PMP certification (mandatory).

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong stakeholder and team management capabilities.
  • Effective time management, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Knowledge of Global Financial Technology (GFT) processes.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft technologies such as SQL and Microsoft Azure.
  • Domain knowledge or experience in actuarial functions.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related).
  • PMP certification is required.
