This is a full-time, permanent hybrid role with required in-office days from Tuesday-Thursday.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting directly to the Chief Risk Officer, the Manager, Business Analysis & Regulatory Reporting is responsible for managing and analyzing financial and regulatory data from Manitoba credit unions to support risk oversight and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This role involves maintaining data systems, validating regulatory filings, and providing insights through reporting and data visualization.
REQUIREMENTS AND EDUCATIONExperience
- 5+ years in financial services, credit union-related roles, or financial industry oversight.
- 3+ years of progressive experience with analytical and reporting tools.
Technical Skills
Advanced proficiency in:
- Power BI (data visualization)
- Microsoft Excel
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in:
- Microsoft Office
- Financial management systems/software
- Data analysis and report generation
- Data Analysis Expressions (DAX)
Strong knowledge of:
- Financial reporting standards
- Regulatory environments (e.g., OSFI, Basel)
- Asset Liability Management (ALM)
Ability to:
- Manage and validate regulatory filings
- Lead data management and reporting projects
- Provide training and support to users

Education and Training
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline
- Required: Training or certification in Business Analysis
- Preferred: Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
