Lead Business Analyst

Work location preference: On-site, Regina, SK; some remote work may be allowed with proper security measures.

Availability for the full project duration: April 13, 2026 – March 31, 2027.

About the Role

The Lead Business Analyst (BA) will lead requirements analysis, coordinate with the clients Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and ensure all upgrade requirements are clearly defined, documented, and communicated to the development team.

Responsibilities

• Review the current systems Assessment Report, existing system documentation, and project artifacts.
• Identify gaps in current system functionality and capture requirements for system enhancements.
• Work with clients SMEs to validate business rules, data handling, and process flows.
• Develop detailed business requirement documents, use cases, and workflow diagrams.
• Support the development team in translating business requirements into functional specifications.
• Assist in test planning and validation of system upgrades.
• Provide ongoing support for knowledge transfer to internal client IT resources.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of business analysis experience, preferably in .NET system upgrades or large-scale software projects.
• Experience analyzing complex systems with significant data and transactional processes.
• Knowledge of data management, registry systems, or similar record-based applications is an asset.
• Strong communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in documentation of structured system design and business processes.
