Role Description

This is a contract role for an Occupational Therapist, located on-site in Calgary, AB. The Occupational Therapist will assess, plan, and implement therapy interventions to support individuals in overcoming barriers to independence and participation in daily activities. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, providing direct therapy services, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The role also involves working with clients, particularly children, to improve their functional tasks and overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Occupational Therapy practices, including planning and delivering effective rehabilitation strategies
• A solid understanding of medical principles as they pertain to therapeutic services
• Experience in working with Pediatrics and a demonstrated ability to engage positively with children
• Strong Communication skills for collaboration with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals
• Experience working in team environments with the ability to establish effective professional relationships
• Current registration or eligibility for registration as an Occupational Therapist with Alberta College of Occupational Therapist
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field
