Our Client is seeking to hire a Product Inspection Field Sales Representative to serve its customers in the Quebec region. As a Product Inspection Field Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting MT solutions to defined accounts within defined market segments (mostly food and pharma). You will focus specifically on sale of Checkweighers, Metal Detectors, XR Systems and Vision Systems to the end users and system integrators.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Work to meet annual targets by actively participating in account selection process and identifying key accounts while utilizing a variety of key account strategies.
- Seek partnerships with segment specific work groups or associations assuring preferred or equal access for all their products.
- Initiate and participate with on-site customer value shows or presentations.
- Conduct on-site seminars on topics related to segment specific Good Practices.
- Promote product to key accounts through direct sales and product detailing.
- Work with marketing to create account specific micro-marketing pieces to support sales.
- Prospect new opportunities through cold-calling and penetrating new segments/accounts.
- Seeks out "New Start Up's" and actively pursue purchasing agreement across our portfolio.
- Actively work in collaboration with other sales team members to gain access to targeted accounts, drive cross-divisional and SBU leads and sales.
- Welcome new accounts and seek both OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and appropriate BPA (Business Partner Agreement) opportunities.
- Actively participate in bi-weekly pipeline reviews and penetration plan reviews.
- Develop comprehensive territory review upon request at least once per year which includes market, channel, and competitive landscape, detailed penetration plan overview, and other key topics as required.
- Other duties and tasks as assigned.
Education and Experience
- A college diploma focused around Instrumentation, Automation or Engineering discipline along with 4 to 5 years of Product Inspection experience is required.
- Previous sales experience is required.
- Any specific training surrounding industrial communication is a plus.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must be willing to travel up to 50%, including overnights.
- Must be a bilingual in French and English (English language requirement due to servicing English customers, the need to communicate with the head office, product and technical support (including from our vendor partners), the position extending into territories outside of Quebec, and training and training assessments being attended / completed outside of Canada).
- Must be able to travel within Canada and the U.S.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
