The Opportunity

The Corporate Services Manager is a key operational leader responsible for driving the efficiency and effectiveness of cross-departmental processes within our growing team. This role oversees core business functions and workflow optimization to ensure seamless day-to-day operations aligned with organizational goals and fosters a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

This position requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized individual who can confidently lead in a dynamic environment with competing priorities. The Manager will take ownership of developing, reviewing, and enhancing policies, SOPs, systems, change management initiatives, and business continuity plans to ensure all functions operate smoothly and efficiently.

Success in this role demands exceptional professionalism, initiative, a strong work ethic, and a high standard for output quality and meeting deadlines. Strong interpersonal, communication, and administrative skills are essential, as is the ability to maintain confidentiality and thrive in both independent and collaborative environments.

A growth mindset is critical, demonstrating adaptability and a continuous improvement approach to all processes. Equally important is a passion for fostering a positive, engaged, and high-performing team culture.

Strong change management skills are essential to support smooth transitions as new systems and processes are introduced.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage the corporate services functions, providing guidance, delegation, and performance oversight.
  • Coordinate across departments to ensure cohesive support services, setting priorities, and managing corporate operations.
  • Ensure corporate compliance with regulatory, contractual, and policy obligations.
  • Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Continuously develop, review, and enhance corporate systems, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Lead change management initiatives, supporting the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of internal business systems, partnering with departments to drive adoption of digital tools across teams.
  • Oversee training on corporate platforms and ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and effective reporting practices.
  • Translate strategic priorities into operational plans within corporate services.
  • Contribute to enterprise planning, performance measurement, and capacity alignment.
  • Develop and implement security clearance requirements by developing security compliant policies and procedures across the organization.
  • Lead special projects, including the development and maintenance of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans, and corporate wide platforms.
  • Develop and manage the quarterly corporate reporting process, including the collection and analysis of KPIs and operational metrics, interfacing with managers and directors across the organization to gather and synthesize information for reports.
  • Present insights and recommendations to Senior Leadership based on KPI analysis, highlighting how they reflect organizational success and offering guidance for implementing adaptations in future iterations.
  • Support data integrity, reporting accuracy, and information governance practices.
  • Act as business lead for enterprise systems and digital platforms (in partnership with IT).
  • Ensure compliance with COVE’s policies and procedures, including human resources, safety, and operational standards.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as required to support the success and growth of COVE’s programs and strategic initiatives.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field.
  • 5 -7 years’ progressive experience in a similar corporate position, or a combination of experience and education.
  • Exceptional leadership and time, task, and resource management skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, critical thinking, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated experience leading process improvement or system implementation initiatives.
  • Highly motivated, analytical, logical thinker with a very strong attention to detail and the ability to meet multiple and/or unexpected deadlines in a demanding environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Initiative, good judgment, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently.
  • Solid team player who enjoys interacting and building relationships with others.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada security clearance.

Additional Assets:
