Shipping Coordinator, Cornerstone Kitchens and Closets

Job Overview Reporting to the Vice-President as the Shipping Coordinator you are responsible to manage orders and coordinate shipping schedules to ensure clients are provided with excellent customer service. You also manage inventory and support other projects or duties as assigned. Your Day-to-day Responsibilities Will Include

• Completing purchase orders and schedule materials for kitchen and closet projects.
• Preparing purchase orders and matching quotes with order confirmation to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Managing inventory of sheet goods and hardware as well as special orders, including receiving, physical counts and organization of warehouse.
• Liaising with internal team members to inform of products received or timelines for delivery or product.
• Ensuring completed projects are packed and provided with appropriate paperwork for shipping.
• Closing internal work orders and ensuring costs assigned to projects are accurate.
• Updating production management software so projects can be fully invoiced in a timely manner.
• Providing support to other projects or duties as assigned.

Essential Requirements

• High School Diploma, or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of material handling and/or administrative related experience.
• Good knowledge of construction practices
• Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.
• Comfortable using office equipment and Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Teams, SharePoint, Access, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in residential construction industry is considered an asset.

Work Conditions You primarily work in an office setting during regular business hours. Overtime may occasionally be required based on workloads.
