Job Description We are looking for an Accounting Technician. This key role represents a unique opportunity to actively contribute to the financial health of our organization, while participating in the continuous improvement of our practices. Responsibilities Reporting to the Finance and Accounting Department, the incumbent's main responsibilities will be:
- Month-end entries, bank reconciliation, and tax returns;
- Processing (issuing, paying, and monitoring) customer invoices;
- Processing payroll and expense accounts;
- Supporting the preparation of the financial audit;
- Implementing continuous improvement processes;
- Other accounting tasks.
Required Skills And Qualifications
- College diploma in accounting, with a minimum of 3 years of experience, or any combination of training and experience equivalent;
- Excellent command of French and knowledge of English preferred;
- Proficiency in the Office Suite and advanced knowledge of Excel;
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a multidisciplinary team;
- Proficiency in SAGE 50 accounting software is an asset.
