Mail Administrator

Halifax, NS

Onsite | Monday–Friday

Contract Position | Starts June 2026 (6 months)

Shift timings: Mon - Fri 4pm to 12 am (8 am to 4pm for first 2 weeks training period)

OR

Mon - Fri 8 am to 4 pm

We are hiring a Mail Administrator for an onsite contract opportunity with our client in the financial services industry.. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced operational environment and have strong organizational and administrative skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Open, sort, categorize, and process incoming mail and documents
• Operate high-speed scanning and imaging equipment
• Perform indexing, quality checks, and document tracking activities
• Support cheque processing, deposits, and workflow queue management
• Maintain service levels while handling fluctuating workloads and tight deadlines
• Assist with administrative tasks including filing, logging, photocopying, and courier coordination

Key Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience with mailroom operations, administrative support, document processing, or data entry preferred
• Proficiency with MS Office and office/scanning equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work onsite full-time
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team
