Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Director of Finance to lead our financial operations and support strategic decision-making across the organization. This senior leadership role oversees institutional and research budgets, financial reporting, audits, and compliance, while working closely with executive leadership and the Board of Directors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting

• Provide strategic financial advice to the CEO, and Board Finance Committee

• Oversee payroll, audits, CRA reporting, and financial systems

• Support research funding management and reporting for Principal Investigators

• Supervise and mentor finance staff

Qualifications:

• CPA designation required

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

• Minimum 5 years of senior-level accounting/finance experience

• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and analytical skills

• Experience in non-profit, research, or university settings is an asset
