Competition # 389-24-715566610Posting End Date: Open Until Filled City: Winnipeg Work Location: Sherbrooke St. Department: Prevention & Screening, Breast Check Union: CUPE FS Hiring Status: Permanent Anticipated Start: ASAP FTE: 1.0 Anticipated Shift: Days/Modified Days Daily Hours Worked: 7.75 Annual Base Hours: 2015 Salary: $21.653, $22.302, $22.970, $23.661, $24.370 Job Summary: Under the supervision of the BreastCheck Operations Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for performing a variety of clerical tasks, supportive functions for clients, staff and the department in an efficient and effective manner. Qualifications:Required:

• Ability to speak French
• Graduate of a Medical Office Assistant Program. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the Internet.
• Experience in a healthcare clinical environment, involving interaction with patients and the public.
• Experience organizing and managing patient data using electronic clinical systems.
• Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) – must have English 40s or equivalent.
• Must have exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to adapt to stressful situations in a high-pace environment.
• Ability to work independently, as well as a positive member of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Works with a high level of confidentiality.
• Must hold a satisfactory employment record.
• Must be able to legally work in Canada

Preferred:

• Indigenous Canadian Citizen (Applicants must, at application, self-declare that they self-identify as Indigenous (First Nations, Métis and Inuit)

Assets:

• Knowledge of Population Health and Screening Programs.
• Experience working in Screening Programs.
• Experience organizing patient data using Radiology Information System (RIS) and Picture. Archival Communication System (PACS).
• Experience using Maxon BSP and PenRad.
