We have over 200 offices across Canada, ask us about our flexible work arrangements! We are looking for a Learning and Development Specialist to join BrokerLink and work out of our Atlantic region. On a Permanent FT Basis. Successful candidate will report to Learning & Development in Human Resources. Primary role will be to instruct within our regional training discipline by teaching in our PI Foundations and PI Edge programs. Create and deliver instructor led training in soft skills, behavioural skills, product knowledge, and leadership skills. Use adult learning principles to deliver engaging and interactive learning experiences through a range of methodologies. Prepare, support, and train employees and in delivering an exceptional customer experience increasing individual productivity and building various skills and competencies. Align training with current strategic objectives. Adhere to department, program and regulatory policies and procedures. What the Role Entails:

  • Educates employees through multiple L & D Disciplines.
  • Research, create, prepare, and present educational materials.
  • Supports and promotes the adoption and application of workplace learning.
  • Ongoing administrative management on existing and completed training courses and programs.
  • Consistently participating in program planning in collaboration with team members and external stakeholders. Identifying and developing solutions to fill training gaps locally, regionally, and nationally.
  • Consistently participating in various projects within the HR department and other departments.
  • Performs other duties as needed.

The Successful candidate will have:

  • If you feel you have the equivalent skills, please apply*
  • Insurance License (Required)
  • CAIB 1 & 2 or 3 CIP courses
  • 3-5 years insurance experience
  • 1-year instructional experience (asset)
  • Strong application of National workflows
  • Strong customer service
  • Attention to detail
  • Advanced Communication
  • Solutions drive customer focus
  • Facilitation and teaching abilities
