Why This Role Matters As a Site Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in the success of the NCH hospital megaproject, one of the most ambitious and innovative healthcare projects in Quebec. Your expertise and attention to detail will ensure the quality, compliance, and progress of the work on site. You will collaborate with a talented multidisciplinary team where quality, innovation, and collaboration are at the heart of every decision, and you will have the opportunity to contribute directly to a project that will leave a lasting impact on the community. Main Responsibilities
- Monitor the execution of construction work on site and contribute to report writing.
- Take photographic records of ongoing work.
- Participate in site meetings.
- Collaborate in the review of shop drawings with the mechanical and electrical design teams.
- Support the analysis of payment applications.
- Assist in drafting and monitoring deficiency lists.
- Follow up on start-ups and commissioning activities.
- Assist in the negotiation process related to change costs.
- Contribute to recommending amounts to be paid for contractors’ payment applications.
Profile Sought
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in site supervision in building mechanical and electrical systems.
- Possess an ASP Construction card, a valid driver’s license, and access to a vehicle.
- Proficiency in French, both spoken and written.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong understanding of construction site operations.
- Versatility, autonomy, and strong communication skills.
- Excellent negotiation abilities.
- Strong skills in report writing and experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
