Role Description

This is a contract hybrid role for a Developer based in Edmonton, AB, with the flexibility to work from home part-time. The Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain innovative software features for our AI-driven platform. Key responsibilities include coding and debugging, optimizing application performance, and integrating APIs to ensure seamless functionality. The Developer will also participate in code reviews, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to product improvements.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java
  • Experience with front-end development in frameworks like React or Angular
  • Skills in backend development and database technologies such as Node.js, Django, SQL, or NoSQL
  • Knowledge of API integration, software testing, and debugging
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Understanding of AI development concepts or interest in AI-driven applications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Previous work experience in hybrid or contract roles is a plus
