Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Construction Project Coordinator based in Sherwood Park, AB. The Construction Project Coordinator will oversee project schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery. Responsibilities include managing project documentation, coordinating with on-site teams, facilitating communication among stakeholders, and monitoring project objectives. The Coordinator will also assist with procurement, contract administration, adherence to safety regulations, and resolving project issues that may arise.
Qualifications
- Experience in Project Coordination and Construction Project Management
- Proficiency in Budgeting and Construction Management processes
- Strong skills in Project Management principles, organization, and task prioritization
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Post-secondary education or certification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is an asset
- Knowledge of local construction regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices
- Experience in asphalt and concrete paving construction is an advantage
- Valid driver’s license and ability to work onsite at Sherwood Park, AB
