Purpose of the Position:

Reporting through the COO, the Director of Warehouse & Logistics is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, distribution, inventory control, and logistics to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality service delivery. This role plays a strategic part in developing scalable processes, optimizing supply chain performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives aligned with business goals.

Responsibilities & Expectations:

Warehouse Operations

• Direct daily warehouse activities including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping.
• Develop and implement SOPs to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance.
• Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and the facility to support smooth operations.

Logistics & Distribution

• Oversee transportation and delivery processes, ensuring timely and cost-effective distribution.
• Manage third-party logistics (3PL) relationships and carrier performance.
• Optimize routing and freight costs through effective planning and negotiation.

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing warehouse and logistics team.
• Establish clear performance metrics and accountability standards.
• Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Inventory & Supply Chain Management

• Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and system controls.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales to forecast and meet inventory needs.
• Utilize data analytics to drive decision-making and identify process improvements.

Strategic Planning

• Develop and manage the annual warehouse and logistics budget.
• Lead initiatives to scale operations in line with business growth.
• Identify and implement automation and technology solutions to improve efficiency.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 8+ years of progressive experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain leadership.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale warehouse and distribution operations.
• Strong knowledge of WMS, ERP systems, and supply chain best practices.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
