We are a marketing & PR agency that specializes in website design & development, branding/identity services, search engine optimization (SEO), content management systems (CMS) integration, advertising campaigns, social media development, public relations, and more!

We’re looking for a sharp, thoughtful Editorial & Copy Strategist—someone who blends messaging strategy, editorial integrity, and AI fluency to create content that’s as impactful as it is on-brand.

This role goes beyond writing. You’ll work closely with clients during the content development phase to gather the insight, voice, and context needed to bring each piece to life. Whether it’s a website page, blog, social post, or ad set, you’ll ask the right questions, extract what’s missing, and shape it into strategic, emotionally resonant copy.

AI is a core part of your workflow. You know how to design strong prompts, generate layered drafts, and refine output until it sounds intentional, original, and human-led. You don’t rely on AI to write for you; you use it to scale strategic thinking, voice alignment, and performance-driven storytelling.

You also bring editorial discernment to every project. You know how to recognize when content needs deeper insight, real-world proof, or a first-hand narrative to stand apart. That might mean interviewing an expert, integrating data or case studies, shaping a testimonial into a moment of clarity, or turning a flat section into a distinct point of view.

You’re also proactive about staying sharp, continuously exploring how AI is evolving, and upskilling yourself on tools, techniques, and trends that keep your work ahead of the curve.

This role is best suited for someone who thrives in collaborative environments, thinks in systems, and cares deeply about the voice, integrity, and impact of every word they write.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to clarify messaging, fill insight gaps, and align content with brand voice and strategy.
  • Write and edit across formats, web pages, ads, blogs, social posts, and press releases, tailoring tone and structure to each.
  • Use AI tools to design prompts, draft structured content, and refine outputs to meet editorial standards.
  • Evaluate when content needs added narrative depth, and integrate quotes, data, or expert input to elevate quality.
  • Ask targeted questions to uncover key differentiators, tone, proof points, and story angles.
  • Ensure all content is voice-aligned, emotionally resonant, and strategically structured for impact.
  • Manage client feedback with clarity and judgment, ensuring revisions strengthen the content without diluting intent.
  • Maintain originality and polish, eliminating clichés, vague statements, and weak structure to deliver sharp, engaging copy.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of copywriting or editorial experience across formats like web, ads, blogs, and more.
  • Strong background in storytelling, with experience sourcing, interviewing, or adding journalistic depth.
  • Proven ability to adapt voice, tone, and structure across brands, industries, and audiences.
  • Skilled in narrative development and brand voice, with a track record of creating voice-aligned content.
  • Familiar with SEO and capable of writing blog content that’s both searchable and original.
  • Experienced with AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude), using them strategically to scale quality and consistency.
  • Confident designing prompts and refining AI output to match editorial and brand standards.
  • Excellent editorial instincts, strong collaborator, and highly organized across multiple projects.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience working within a fast-paced agency environment, juggling multiple clients or verticals.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing principles (direct response, conversion copy, paid social).
  • Ability to contribute to internal prompt libraries, voice documentation, or writing system frameworks.
  • Experience writing for industries like wellness, e-commerce, professional services, or home services.
  • Previous work on brand launches, tone-of-voice development, or messaging hierarchies.
  • Passion for experimenting with emerging creative tools or AI-powered workflows.
  • A strong personal standard for writing that is bold, clear, emotionally intelligent, and performance-driven.
